Three Weeks to Go!

WOW - three weeks before I leave on my big trip to LA, California.  Traveling on my 2010 Street Glide will be a dream.  I am registered for a ride with the Harley Owner Group traveling from Chicago to LA on Old Route 66.  I am expecting to meet people from all over (perhaps even all over the world).  I am told there are hundreds of bikes!!  There will be lots of stories and places of interest along the way.

As this trip of a lifetime is getting closer I have been trying to think of all the things that I will need on my trip - from clothes, shoes, storage, tools, and basic necessities.  Today I picked up my windshield bags that will carry my MP3 player so that I will be entertained with all my favourite music.  I placed an order for new rain gear and I hope delivery is in time so I can be comfortable in the dreaded rain.
